Cloudpunk's City of Ghosts is a 'sequel-human-sized' DLC that adds hovercar street races
Cloudpunk, the hack noir game that our personal Fraser reckoned was the better Cyber-terrorist game of last year, is receiving an expansion that its developers describe as "subsequence-sized," featuring a fully sonant campaign that "is even longer than the base game."
The City of Ghosts DLC casts players as the original game's Rania A well As a new fibre called Hayse. The otherwise-spiffing drone has a gruff voice deliver the lines "Who am I? I'm Hayes. And I'm the straw that stirs the crapulence." Maybe that line looked cooler on the page.
The ii characters' stories intersect, as Rania gets pursued down for old debts, eventually by a "murderous, chimeral cyborg," piece gambler and boozehound Hayse has his own money problems.
Unprecedented areas and new characters volition be added to Cloudpunk's Novalis setting, as well as the power to vie in street races. While the original included vehicle customisation, this expands in the DLC to "every aspect of your HOVA [in order to] craft the perfect racing vehicle." The DLC effort will also have multiple endings depending connected your route through its story.
